This Dagoba was built in 3rd century by king Mahasena, It was the third largest structure in the world that time. In addition that was the first ever largest brick structure built by man. It has been estimated over 90 million bricks were used for the project; enough bricks to build 3m high wall from London to Edinburgh. The original height estimated at 120 present day it is only 70m tall.
