Colombo Fort Railway Station

Colombo Fort Railway Station is the main railway station in Sri Lanka. If you are planing to travel around Sri Lanka by train, this is the first place you should come. From here – you can travel to many parts of Sri Lanka including southern part, hill country, eastern and north parts of the country.

This station was first opened in 1864 and this has been constructed similar to Manchester Victoria station in England.
